The Sofirn SP33 V3 LED flashlight is the newest addition to the Sofirn family. This is a third and improved version of the SP33 which has been introduced in 2017. One year later, we’ve welcomed the V2 that has improved UI, and now, the third version comes with an upgraded driver, and more lumens, and better endurance.
The Sofirn SP33 V3 has the build like a typical Sofirn light. Smooth, anodizing, solid-feeling, but a boring design. This is an issue with many Sofirn flashlights, they could come with a more attractive design.
And there is something else. If you are looking for a LED flashlight with attractive, or for EDC, then SP33 V3 is not for you. On the other hand, if you need a relatively compact and strong 26650 bag light, then this model is for you.
The Sofirn SP33 V3 is powered by a 5500mAh 26650 rechargeable Li-Ion battery, but you can also use 18650 and 21700 batteries to power this flashlight.
This flashlight features a right XHP50.2 3V LED with an orange peel reflector, and has a powerful emitter that provides up to 3500 lumens output, 18632 cd intensity, and a beam distance of 275 m.
If you prefer the quality then this flashlight will definitely not disappoint you. It has a body made from Aircraft 6061 grade-aluminum alloy, and a hard-anodized anti-abrasive finish. This makes the body solidly durable and offers a pretty good heat exchange.
This light has 5 modes of lighting and a memory function to remember the last used mode. It has also a strobe function, which is one of the most effective self-defense tools available.
SP33 V3 comes with a build-in USB-C port for convenience recharging, so you can charge it via your computer, power bank, or adapter. And with the LED indicator in the side switch, you will see the current battery’s power status.

Although the Sofirn SP33 V3 is a bit more expensive than a similar Astrolux EC01 flashlight, if you prefer quality and Sofirn customer service, this LED light is a no-brainer.
All in all, great. Great light, built-in charging, bright as well, And the durable body of Sofirn SP33 V3 with black anodized finish provides shock and abrasion resistance. It is also worth mention, this light is rated IPX8 water-resistant.
